Mr. Ashok Jaipuria, Chairman, Cosmo Films Limited (Holding Co. of CSC)
A first-generation entrepreneur with over forty years of experience in the corporate world, Mr. Ashok Jaipuria is the Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Cosmo Films Limited. He is a member of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore. He has also been an Executive Committee member of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and a member of the BoG of IIT Patna and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences. He holds a degree in Associate of Arts in Business Administration and a diploma in Marketing Science.

Pankaj Poddar, Group CEO, Cosmo Speciality Chemicals, Cosmo Films, Cosmo Ferrites and Zigly
Mr. Pankaj Poddar has over 24 years of experience in finance, advisory and various leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from SRCC, a diploma in management, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Dr. Anil Vilas Gaikwad, Business Head – Cosmo Speciality Chemicals
Dr. Anil Gaikwad is the business head of Cosmo Speciality Chemicals. He has over 14 years of global experience,
especially from Europe and the USA, in a wide range of polymer synthesis techniques, coatings, adhesives and packaging. Academically, he holds a Doctorate degree from Europe in Chemistry (Nanotechnology).

People and organisations together can make a difference. But it requires a well-run, forward-thinking, entrepreneur mindset to get the job done. Cosmo plans to become a reliable organisation by passing through each lifecycle phase with strong, trustworthy leadership across the organisation and hiring the best talent to build a healthy culture from top to bottom.

Milestones and Future Plans
Cosmo Specialty Chemicals has developed 56 new products, many of which are certified for meeting quality standards and enhancing functionality and aesthetics. It has established more than 600 T/ month textile capacity which is completely automatic.

The company has a state-of-the-art Research & Development analytical facility and a well-equipped application lab, which help to replicate industrial textile processes. Apart from textile chemicals, Cosmo Speciality Chemicals also started manufacturing masterbatches as part of backward integration to its films business, and is working towards launching industrial adhesives by the end of the year 2022

Moving forward, the company aims to make sustainable eco-friendly products by developing its own chemistries. It plans to offer breakthrough products in moisture management, technical and Industrial textiles.

The plan is to grow the business five to six times in the next financial year, and develop patentable products for specialty finishes and technical/industrial textiles. It is working to strengthen the confidence of its customers and stakeholders as an innovative solution provider.
