The 36th Surajkund International Crafts Fair is taking place from Feb 3 to 19 at Surajkund, Faridabad, Haryana. The Surajkund Mela is a renowned arts and crafts exhibition that was started in 1987 and attracts top artisans from India and globally.
Surajkund Mela attracts more than one million visitors from India and abroad. The North Eastern region has been chosen as the theme state for this year, with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization acting as the partner country. The event showcases a wide range of regional and international crafts, handlooms, and cultural traditions as well as cuisines from different regions.
According to reports, this time more than 30 countries can participate in the fair. At the same time, it has also been revealed in some reports that this time more than 45 countries can participate in this fair, which makes it even more special. Let us inform you that in the year 2019, the theme state of the fair was Maharashtra, and in 2020, Himachal Pradesh.
