Alniche’s path of success commenced in 2007, when Girish Arora (Founder & Managing Director), with his three decades of rich experience in the healthcare industry, realized a therapy gap for a Nephrology focused organization that could cover all Nephrologists across India. With deep knowledge of the disease area, support of the medical fraternity, and complete devotion towards his goal- Girish ensured that Alniche grows at a rapid pace to carve out its niche in the Indian Pharmaceutical Market. Within one decade of its operations, the organization achieved ambitious milestones.
At present, Alniche has 700+ employees with 1500+ distribution points, both for prescription and OTX brands, covering 70,000 doctors and 30,000 hospitals. This Pan India expansion is attained as earnings are invested back into the organization for introducing new therapy areas and field expansion.

Currently, Alniche is present in six therapeutic segments namely Nephrology, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Neuropsychiatry, and Cardiac Diabetes Care. The company has more than 300 products in the market that belong to various therapeutic groups.

A visionary leader, Girish Arora is the Founder and Managing Director of Alniche Life Sciences. He is a self-made man staying true to his roots of hard work and perseverance with a fearless attitude, risk-taking, and resourceful personality. During the initial days of his career, he started working as a marketing professional and toiled for long hours to accomplish career targets with his principled work ethical approach. This accelerated his professional growth, and over time, he understood the importance of a customer-centric approach and leveraged strategies to reach the top of the pyramid by heading reputed Pharmaceutical companies in India.
More importantly, after working for more than three decades in this field, he has handled the highest positions in multiple organizations and established these companies in the segment of nephrology and critical care with his profound experience. His valuable contributions to the Indian market include the ideation of Nephrology as a separate niche business segment in the country. Driven by innovation for new products, Girish is among the first in India who envisaged collaborating with Academia for a new formulation with IIT Chennai.

An astute professional who started his career journey from grass root level by being a meticulous sales marketing expert and diligently worked his way up to head companies in India.
Worked in various organizations (Cipla, Micro, Emcure) and established these companies in the segment of Niche therapies – Nephrology and Critical care. Working at the grass route level in the early phase of his career helped him to understand the importance of a customer-centric account management approach. This strategy facilitated his growth as he acquired the highest ranks in the companies with various recognitions. His diverse roles in various pharma companies groomed his business acumen to put him in the right direction to launch his business venture.
For starting any new business, the first step is to arrange finances. Finances are needed at each step one takes in this direction. It is the quantum of starting money that would determine the size of the enterprise, the quality of people hired, and the size of the market to operate in. Finance is the factor that determines growth in each step of business.

A major risk of starting my enterprise was to leave the safety of a secure corporate job and venture into a new and unknown world of entrepreneurship.

Future Prospectus
Indian pharmaceutical industry is growing by leaps and bounds on all fronts. Alniche has plans for expanding its operation to other countries via exports.
