Delhi air pollution curbs from today: What’s allowed, what’s not
Amidst the outbreak of air pollution in Delhi, the AamAadmi Party government has taken a big step. Environment Minister Gopal Rai has announced work from home for 50 percent government employees in Delhi. Not only this but private companies have also been advised to work from home. Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that from today, primary schools in Delhi will remain closed till further orders.
In a joint press conference with Mann, Kejriwal said, we have a government in Punjab and we are responsible if stubble is being burnt there. Farmers are not responsible for this. “Air pollution is a problem in North India. AAP, Delhi Government, or Punjab Government are not solely responsible. Now is not the time to blame,” Kejriwal said.
