Home Country Treatment Initiative
Continuing in its altruistic vein, eExpedise Healthcare has conceptualized and designed a program called “Home Country Treatment”. As part of this program, the group touches base with the NRI population, including students who are residing out of India. For this purpose, they have signed a contract with international insurance companies and offered them a case management solution and shown savings through “Home Country Treatment”.
This unique proposition benefiting all the stakeholders helps insurance companies save around 30% of the cost while members get an all-expense-paid trip to India/ home town. This has helped in controlling the incurred claim ratio (ICR), which has directly impacted the policy premiums. At the same time, they are provided the best medical care in addition to meeting their families. These members have started internally referring to the members within the organization and have appreciated the concept, also advocating for it within their organizations.
