Pro marketing: Elon Musk says “Please buy my perfume so I can buy Twitter”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has set Twitter abuzz again, this time while promoting his newly launched perfume ‘Burnt Hair Perfume’. Tesla’s CEO on Thursday (October 13) appealed for help to buy the microblogging site (Twitter). He wrote on Twitter, “Please buy my perfume so I can buy Twitter.”Currently, Twitter’s lawsuit against Musk remains on track to begin on October 17.

On October 12, Musk took to Twitter to announce the launch of his perfume line, joking that with a name like his getting into the fragrance business was “inevitable”. And the same day, Musk said he had already sold 20,000 bottles of the scent.

He has even changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman”.
Claiming it to be “the best fragrance on earth”, the 51-year-old entrepreneur shared an image of the perfume bottle on Twitter, the tagline for the scent is”The Essence of Repugnant Desire”.
Elon Musk has shared information about the Burnt Hair perfume brand on Twitter. A separate Buy Now page is also visible on The Boring Company (an American infrastructure and tunnel construction services company founded by Elon Musk). Elon Musk says that this perfume will be Omnigender, meaning it can be used by men, women, and people of all genders. Its price is 100 dollars (about INR 8,400). Shipping charges will be extra. While people can also pay for this perfume in cryptocurrencies.
Whether he’s raising funds for Twitter or not, Musk is pretty determined about Twitter deal. Some people also claim that Tesla CEO wants to buy Twitter so that his private conversation with Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal is not made public. According to a Bloomberg report, after months of laxity and court cases, Tesla boss Elon Musk has proposed to buy Twitter Inc at an original offer price of $54.20 per share, totaling $44 billion. Recently, he backed out of this deal because he believed that Twitter had manipulated its spam account numbers.
