Godrej Properties hits record sales of INR 575 cr in a single day

Godrej Properties rose 1.77 percent to INR 1,755.75 after selling INR 575 crore in a single day at the launch of the second phase of its Godrej Woods project in Noida (Uttar Pradesh). Godrej Properties, a Mumbai-based real estate developer, got a tremendous consumer reaction to Evergreen, the forest-themed phase of Godrej Woods, bringing the project’s total sales in the last six months to almost INR 1,140 crore. On the first day of the opening, Godrej Properties stated that it had sold 340 residences totaling more than half a million square feet.
Godrej Properties Limited is a Mumbai-based Indian real estate company. The firm was created in 1990 under the management of Adi Godrej as a division of Godrej Industries Ltd. The company is now working on projects that will cover over 89.7 million square feet. The Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange both presently trade Godrej Properties Limited (GPL). In 2010, Godrej Properties joined the Delhi-NCR market. It includes 17 projects spread across five cities, six of which have been completed. The Godrej Woods project in Noida Sector 43 is surrounded by a lush green cover of over 600 trees. It has infinity pools, a clubhouse, a cafe, a rivulet, an elevated walkway, a forest trail, and other amenities. Godrej’s commitment to sustainable development is shown in this initiative. GPL pledged in 2010 that all of its initiatives will be certified green by a third party.
Godrej Properties set a new record for sales bookings in the fiscal year 2020-21, with INR 6,725 crore, the highest among all listed real estate companies. However, sales bookings decreased 68% to INR 497 crore in the April-June quarter of this fiscal year, compared to INR 1,531 crore the previous year.
