Company Overview
Hypro Group, a high-class manufacturer of hygienic process equipment and solutions provider, was established by the first-generation entrepreneur and chemical engineer Ravi Varma in January 1999. Hypro conceptualizes, develops, manufactures and installs a wide range of products for Breweries, Energy saving schemes, Water De-oxygenation plants and CO2 Recovery Plants for Breweries, Distilleries, Wineries, Biogas and Chemical Industries across the globe. Hypro provides customized solutions that revolve around brewer’s capital equipment requirements.
Today, Hypro owns two manufacturing units which have a ground area of approximately 110,000 sq.ft and covered area of 50,000 ft. The plants are equipped with state-of-the-art-machinery needed for modern day fabrication. The engineers at Hypro are skilled technocrats who invent, develop and implement path-breaking technologies. Hypro Engineers have mastered the art of delivering the best customized solutions with unmatched quality standards, energy efficiency, cost optimization, and environmental sustainability. Ashwini Patil is the Associate Director of Hypro Group and known for her tenacious work ethic. She has been an integral part of the company since 2005 and is instrumental in the company growth. She has benefited the company with her multiple talents like Mechanical Design of Process Equipment, Technical and Commercial Sales and Marketing, Production Monitoring, Quality System Management, etc. She has played a lead role to achieve International Certifications like ASME “U” Stamp and CE compliance as per PED. Her corporate system strategies include cultivating an environment that values differences, inclusion, and fairness Leadership of Diverse Teams. She comes up with business growth strategies, upholding Hypro as a better performer and more relevant player in the community around the world.

Anurag Ayade has been serving the Brewing Industry for many years. With an Electrical Engineering background, he has been associated with Hypro since 2007. He is now the Vice President of Hypro Group and opens up the door to a long-term brand connection with customers while heading the Electrical Instrumentation & Control division, Efficient Support After-sales and thereby bolsters Hypro’s reputation as a brand of trust. His focus on customer-centricity has led Hypro through the complete value creation chain of sales and after-sales support that in turn aided the process of gaining and retaining customers. He has managed and intensified many verticals in Hypro such as Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Projects Planning Control, and Execution, as well as Support After-sales.
The commitment and dedication of the leaders of Hypro are the reason behind the company’s growth and status, as well as its ongoing success. The team’s determination and strategic thinking has also helped the company through the demand disruption brought upon by the pandemic. Hypro grabbed three export orders in a row despite the COVID-19 situation from Asia and Europe, two of which will be installed in Switzerland and Cambodia. The company has restructured itself post evaluation, and taken steps to mitigate the covid crisis:
Crystallized on operating systems, process flow and documentation.
Standardization of systems for faster churning out of engineering.
Digitalized the company for project tracking, manufacturing tracking and task management for resources.
In-house training of the teams to handle and deliver system certifications with U Stamp, CE, AD2000, HP 0, ISO 3834 so as to stand at the international level.
Restarted the manufacturing unit and are moving in direction to making it more efficient by sourcing more machines for faster, consistent and higher production capability.
Hypro is also strategically moving ahead with most work to be in-house and reducing the site work quantum to absolute minimal, given the COVID-19 challenges that will be posted in future.
