Instagram introduces a new video format: combines feed videos and IGTV

Today Instagram announced that it merged feed videos and IGTV into one format dubbed Instagram Video, after a massive outage on 4th September. News Reports said that Instagram Video will make it easier for users to discover quality video content. This new tab will appear alongside “Reels” on the user’s profile page.
People will also be able to find IGTV, feed videos, and live streaming within a new and enhanced Instagram Videos app as a result of this update. Trimming, filters, people, and location tagging for all videos are among the new capabilities announced by the company to make video creation easier.

As per the reports, IGTV ads are now called Instagram in-stream videos ads, with Insta videos. This tab is now available to all users; if it does not appear for you, make sure to update the app or simply close and reopen it. As per the reports, IGTV offers 55% ads revenue to its creator which is the same ads revenue as YouTube offer.
New capabilities also promised to make creating videos more seamless. Trimming, filters, persons, and location tagging are now available for all videos. According to him, video now accounts for over half of all time spent on social media platform Facebook, and we’ve seen the creator community embrace video content more than ever before, using it to engage with their audiences, he said.
For its game video makers, the firm also announced the availability of co-streaming on Facebook Gaming. “Co-streaming intends to promote creator discoverability, foster collaboration among artists, and improve the viewing experience for everyone,” added Voica. He explained that co-streaming allows creators to stream simultaneously with one another, allowing viewers to effortlessly switch between the co-streams to watch from diverse angles.
