Covid-19 crisis took a huge toll on the hospitality industry, punching almost every operation down.Here, Soumya Sengputa made his venture survive as well as navigated through the crisis effortlessly. Though the pandemic turned the revenue generation percent to as low as zero, his venture has now bounced back with full-swing with a notable growth. For this, he made a slight shift to the business model where Resotel Consultancy was transformed into Soumyo Sengupta & Associates that is proprietorship enterprise handling turnkey projects alongside consultancy.
Now, the venture poses as project consultant, management consultant, and corporate management consultant where they offer a diverse range of services such as- conceptualized design, technical support services, interior design services, procurement, manpower planning and development, sales and marketing, organisation planning and set-up,and corporate services. All of these transformative steps were ensured to increase the overall turnover of his businesses and compensate for the enormous loss witnessed during the unprecedented scenario.
Moreover, he has come up with a few massive projects that will feed his entrepreneurial streak i.e two high-end hotels on turnkey basis, 12,500 sq. ft. lounge in Kolkata, and state-of-theart cloud kitchen in Guwahati. As this is the drive to recover from the setback to the business, he is supervising and steering every aspect of the business operations based on his years of experience and profound industry acumen.
