- Adil Rashid: With a base price of ₹2 Crores, the England legger found no bidder on his side. He is undoubtedly one of the best bowlers currently in the game’s shortest format. He has a rank of 3 in ICC T20I player rankings. However, he got a cold shoulder from the bidders during this auction.
- Imran Tahir: This veteran player from South Africa is an excellent spinner. At 42, his base price remains ₹2 Crores. Last year, he played only a single match for Chennai super kings.
- Aaron Finch: Aaron Finch had a base price of Rs1.50 crore, which might be why bidders were not interested in him. The white ball captain from Australia was never very consistent in the IPL. However, in 2020, he scored 268 runs in 12 games.
- Dawid Malan: This Englishman was the top batter per ICC ranking. However, his current form is something to watch out for. He had 5th ranking in T20I rankings.
- Eoin Morgan: This England white-ball skipper played for KKR in 2021 and had a base price of ₹1.50 crores this year. Morgan had faced a tough time with the bat last year. Even though he has leadership skills, bidders might have raised an eyebrow at his performance last year.
- Chris Lynn: This brutal hitter from the land of Australia also got cold shoulders from the bidders. Last year, he just played one match for Mumbai Indians.
- Tabraiz Shamsi: Shamshi is yeti another T20 fit left out in the 2022 auction. He had a base price of ₹1 crore, and this South African spinner has proved what he’s capable of.
