The Genius Mind Behind The Venture
Mr Yogesh Gupta is the Director & CEO at Harshyam Consultancy Services along with Ms Archana Gupta, who is also a Director in the Company. Mr Gupta has in-depth working experience in the field of corporate finance, infrastructure advisory, corporate structuring, and solutions. He has worked in almost all sides of financial sectors like the bank, NBFC, corporates and handled portfolios of more than Rs 5000 Crore in NBFC and Banks, and managed more than Rs 10,000 Crore during his tenure in the diversified corporate sector. After having a relevant and diversified international experience in this sector, Yogesh Gupta along with his wife Archana Gupta, a CBSE District Topper and Alumina of SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce) decided to start a company to provide quality advisory and management services to clients at an affordable price. In the past, Archana Gupta had a rich experience in the field of commercial and accounting services, and she has also worked with influential organizations like Asian Paints, BILT, and Ruchi Soya.
The prime motivation for Yogesh and Archana behind starting this Company was to provide quality services and advisory at an affordable price with full focus on customer satisfaction. Yogesh and Archana began with a single moto of “Sharing Expertise – Building Relationship”. During the working tenure of Yogesh and Archana, they have witnessed that in India, the companies providing these types of services with relevant domestic/international experience are minimal. Also, they are mostly dominated by big firms for which they charge a hefty fee. Hence, the aim of Harshyam Consultancy services lies in providing the best quality services and advisory to clients at an affordable charge with utmost satisfaction.
Mr Gupta recalls that his grandparents acted as an inspiration behind starting this venture, Late Shri Lala Harkishan Agarwal and Late Mrs Shyam Devi. They were one of the largest grain traders in Haryana. They always carried out their business with honesty, hard work and have always maintained a relationship of trust with their clients. So, taking inspiration from them, both the Directors are trying their best to follow the path shown by their elders, and they have enforced their teachings in work.
Mr Yogesh recalls that as per his understating, the role of a leader is to act as a navigator. In his Company, when the employees start an assignment, Gupta encourages all his employees to take ownership of the work and gives them credit for the success of the project. However, being a leader Mr Gupta makes sure that his employees do not get demotivated if in case something goes wrong.

During the COVID-19 crisis, almost every business was harshly affected. But, Harshyam Consultancy Services diversified its service base. Also, they focused on providing small services to clients instead of focusing on large deals. The Company shifted its focus from funding to advisory and corporate restructuring.
