Based out of Mumbai, Smitesh More started Zoof Software Solutions in the year 2015 as a complete Software Development & IT Solutions company. Before it came into existence, it was a project called ZOOPLABS created for the university students with a social media platform wherein the students could share stories and assignments. For colleges, Zooplabs remained a management software solution (Saas). Sometime later, it was re-christened and formed as an IT solution company.

Keeping the Vision and Mission Intact
Every organization lays its foundation with a mission and a vision; it is futile to run a business without an objective. It is necessary to imbibe some core values within the team members and should be scrutinized at every possible instance. The Inception Story
From Childhood, Smitesh had a strong fetish for computers. He wanted to make a career in computer coding because he says he was too bright at HTML skills from the beginning. He created the app, Zooplabs- the college management software, while he was doing graduation in Computer Engineering. Smitesh describes this project as his dream project and decided that he wanted to continue doing something similar for the rest of his life. Hence, Zoof Software Solutions was created. The organization is firmly committed to providing a complete range of Software Development & IT Solutions like Software and Custom applications development, website design and development, CRM and ERP development, E-commerce website and development, mobile application development, IT consulting, testing, and software consulting and digital marketing.

The Reason behind the Venture
Online business is still trying to make a place in the country. Some organizations still haven’t evolved much and are stuck with the traditional way of running the business. When Smitesh started this venture, his primary aim was to provide innovative and quality software development & IT services at affordable rates to every individual or business that wanted to run their corporate online. He firmly believes that technology can reshape the business and their products and services can reach the target audiences effortlessly and drive sales and ameliorate the business standards.

When Jobs Inspired the Founder
Steve Jobs is a name to reckon with whenever we mention the word computer or technology. Like Jobs, Smitesh too was deeply involved in computers from his childhood. His Steve-like passion led him to become another software Engineer. He quotes that he has been inspired greatly by Steve Jobs and his innovative ideas, usage of the best technology, and marketing strategies have always inspired and motivated him to achieve the best on every project that he undertakes.

Fighting through the Tough Times
The entire world is in the fatal grips of the pandemic Covid-19 currently. And it certainly did affect the work at Zoof Software Solutions too. No business in the world could escape the aftermath. The Founder of the organization considers himself lucky that he and his team members both understood the gravity of the situation, personally and professionally as well. They concluded that it wasn’t the time to look at growth but it was more important to survive through the difficult times. The organization has stood firm during the catastrophe with the support and understanding from the team members and the clients. Their belief in their vision has helped them face difficult times.

The organization also faced huge monetary losses because of a few projects being cancelled. Yet, the management ensured that the team works from home and stays safe. The team members were provided with the required resources to keep them in the best of health as well as ensure that they are productive during work.

It is imperative to create a difference to stand out in the crowd. Many factors help an organization perform better than its competitors; a dedicated team, supportive management or supervisors, utilizing the latest technologies, etc. At Zoof, all the projects that are undertaken are strongly scrutinized and in-depth research takes place and the services are customized considering a variation of business and demands or requirements. Achievements and Accolades
In Jan 2017, Zoof Software Solutions won the third prize at Zoho International Startup Contest “Sell Big”, for being the Best Startup in the World for their online food delivery app. In the same year, the organization was featured in  “The Hindu” newspaper as the Most Promising Startup of Mumbai.

Future Endeavors
The objective for the organization lies in the upliftment of the education sector in our country and wishes to propagate it to all who need it. The team is already on its toes and the organization is planning to take some action for this initiative at the beginning of the new year.  We have bigger plans than ever. We are already on the way to bring revolution in the education industry which will uplift the current education system.
