UPSC Announces Civil Services Prelims 2023 Results on upsc.gov.in

The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2023 result has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on their official website. The preliminary examination took place on May 28, 2023. The result, presented in a PDF format, contains the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023.
It is important to note that the candidature of the successful candidates is provisional. According to the examination rules, they are required to reapply through the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2023. The Commission will soon provide the dates and important instructions for filling and submitting the DAF-I on their website.

Candidates can visit the counter in person or contact them during working hours using the provided telephone numbers.
Here are the steps to check the UPSC Pre results 2023:
- Visit the official website: Open your web browser and enter “https://www.upsc.gov.in/” to access the official UPSC website.
- Navigate to the Results section: Look for the “Results” or “Examination” tab on the homepage and click on it. This will take you to the results page.
- Find the relevant examination: Locate the specific examination or notification related to the result you are searching for. Since UPSC conducts various exams, make sure to select the correct one.
- Click on the result link: Once you find the relevant examination, click on the provided result link. Usually, this will be in the form of a PDF file.
- Download or view the result: The result will either open in a new window or download automatically. You can choose to view it directly on the website or download it for offline access.
- Check your roll number: In the result file, search for your roll number or registration number. The qualified candidates will be listed with their respective roll numbers.
