When a user asked him what positions Mahindra will hire Agniveers in, the industrialist replied, “Large potential for employment of Agniveers in the Corporate Sector. With leadership, teamwork & physical training, agniveers provide market-ready professional solutions to industry, covering the full spectrum from operations to administration & supply chain management.” Meanwhile, as violent protests erupted across the country, the Centre offered additional job opportunities for Agniveers once they retire.
After four years of service in the armed services, the Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) has decided to reserve 10% of openings in the central paramilitary forces and the Assam Rifles for ‘Agniveers,’ according to Union home minister Amit Shah. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved a proposal on Saturday to set aside 10% of vacancies in the defence ministry for ‘Agnivesers’ who match the required qualifications.
