Apple Retains Most Valuable Brand Title in 2022, followed by Amazon, Google,and more firms

According to research, Apple will keep its status as the world’s most valuable brand in 2022, with a worth of $355.1 billion (approximately INR 26,72,600 crore). The Cupertino company’s value has climbed by 35% as a result of its enhanced market awareness. After Apple, Amazon, and Google were recognised among the year’s top three most valuable brands. TikTok, on the other hand, has become the world’s fastest-growing brand, with a valuation that is expected to increase by 215 percent by 2022.
Apple has become the first brand to attain a global worth of $3 trillion, according to Brand Finance’s newest ranking report. In 2021, the company’s branding increased from $263.37 billion (approximately INR 19,83,000 crore) to $355.1 billion in 2022.

According to Brand Directory, Apple takes the top place with a total worth of $355.1 billion. In the Brand Finance Global 500 list, this is the greatest brand value ever recorded. Note that valuations do not reflect Apple’s market cap but come from Brand Directory’s own research.
According to the survey, Apple’s brand worth climbed by 35% year over year to reach a new high. The popularity of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 throughout the world was a major factor in the company’s expansion. However, this was further enhanced by a number of products by the company in other verticals. The latest generation of iPads, iMacs, MacBooks, and the AirTag are among them.
In addition, Apple’s diverse range of services has grown significantly. Apple Music, Apple Pay, Apple TV, and other platforms soared in popularity and revenue, boosting Apple’s brand value to new heights.
Following Apple are other tech majors, including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Samsung, Huawei, and Verizon. The only two non-tech firms in the top 10 list include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China placed 8thand Walmart placed fifth position.
According to the research, Google has experienced comparable growth to Apple, with a 38 percent increase in brand value to $263.4 billion. Google’s growth represents a strong recovery from ad revenues that were severely harmed during the epidemic. Samsung has also experienced growth, with its brand worth rising to $107.3 billion in 2022, up 5% from the previous year. The Samsung Group is the only Korean company in the top 25 most valuable brands, coming in sixth place.
TikTok, on the other hand, was named the fastest-growing brand, with a 215 percent increase in brand value to $59 billion this year. In the Brand Finance Global 500 2022 rating, it ranks 18th and is the top new entrant.
