Bajaj launches India’s first 110 cc bike with ABS: From price to features all details here
Bajaj Platina 110 is officially launched in India. The motorcycle is the first 110cc bike in the nation to use an anti-lock braking system (ABS). With the advent of this technology, the prices have also increased.
The Platina 110 ABS is priced at INR 72,224 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in four different color options: Ebony Black, Gloss Pewter Grey, Cocktail Wine Red, and Saffire Blue. It has a single-ABS unit.

Announcing the Platina 110, Sarang Kanade, President, Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto said, “India accounts for the highest number of road accidents in the world, of which 45% are 2-wheelers. Our understanding of the Indian consumer reveals that commuter riders are frequently faced with panic braking scenarios. With the new Platina 110 ABS, we aim to provide complete control to the riders in unpredictable braking scenarios.”

Platina 110 ABS Features
The bike’s 115.45 cc engine continues to deliver the same 8.48 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 9.81 Nm of maximum torque at 5000 rpm. The 5-speed gearbox is in charge of the transmission. The engine is connected to a four-speed transmission. Bajaj Platina 110 holds a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters and offers a ground clearance of 200 mm.
The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch alloy front and rear wheels and can hit a top speed of 90 kmph. Apart from that, the bike continues to stay with telescopic forks at the front along with a lower cradle frame built around a single downtube, and a dual-shock absorber at the rear. The front tire’s 240 mm disc and the rear tire’s 110 mm drum are responsible for braking.
While the rear brakes have a combined braking system, the front brakes have ABS. The Platina 110 ABS also has LED lighting, a digital speedometer with ABS indicator, gear indication, and gear guiding, as well as a ling quilted seat that is allegedly equally comfortable for the rider and pillon. The Platina 110 ABS will compete in a segment that includes other commuter bikes such as TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor iSmart, and TVS Star City Plus among others.
