ICC T20 World Cup: India becomes the world champion by defeating South Africa by 7 runs

India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the ICC t 20 final match which was held at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
Virat Kohli becomes the player of the match and JaspritBumrah was awarded as the player of the series.
India won the toss and elected to bat first. Virat Kohli scored 76 runs for his team in 59 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. He played with a strike rate of128.81. Akshar Patel gave his contribution of 47 runs in 31 balls by hitting 4 sixes. He played with the strike rate of 151.61.
Hardik Pandya gave a crucial turn to the match by taking the wicket of Henrik Classen.He sent him back to pavilion when he scored 52 runs. Hardik also took the wicket of David Miller and KagisoRabada. JaspritBumrah took 2 wickets for his team and played with an economy of 4.50.
Former cricketers are congratulating the team for their huge success. With this tremendous win, Rohit Sharma become the 3rd captain after Kapil dev and MS Dhoni to lift a World Cup trophy.
Virat Kohli made an announcement of saying goodbye to the t -20 World Cup. After his announcement, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja also took retirement from the t -20 cricket.
