India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the ICC t 20 final match which was held at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Virat Kohli becomes the player of the match and Jasprit Bumrah was awarded as the player of the series.
India won the toss and elected to bat first. Virat Kohli scored 76 runs for his team in 59 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. He played with a strike rate of 128.81. Akshar Patel gave his contribution of 47 runs in 31 balls by hitting 4 sixes. He played with the strike rate of 151.61.
Hardik Pandya gave a crucial turn to the match by taking the wicket of Henrik Classen. He sent him back to pavilion when he scored 52 runs. Hardik also took the wicket of David Miller and Kagiso Rabada. Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets for his team and played with an economy of 4.50.
