Instagram testing Music in Feed Posts feature in India, Turkey, and Brazil

Music in Feed Posts feature – Instagram announced that India is one of the first three countries where a new feature allowing users to add music to their feed postings is being tested. According to a statement, India is one of the three countries that will initially try this, Brazil and Turkey being the other two.
Music is necessary for creators to be able to share with friends and fans, interact, and express themselves on Instagram. Our platform hopes that with this test, users will be able to add a soundtrack to their Feed photographs, similar to how they do with Reels and Stories, the company said in a statement.
When you click on the song, you will be transported to an audio library with all of the Feed posts that have utilized it.
The process to add music to feed posts on Instagram
Music in Feed Posts function is being tested with a small fraction of Instagram’s worldwide community and will be expanded based on what the Instagram community learns and feedback, according to the company.
Instagram, which is owned by Meta (previously known as Facebook), is progressively introducing new features in India. It released its new format ‘Reels’ last year, which lets users produce and share short videos, and India was one of the first nations to do so. After that, the business launched a dedicated page for ‘Reels,’ with India being the first country to acquire it.
India was also one of the first two countries to obtain Instagram Live Rooms, a function that allows four users to go live at the same time. Instagram said in July that it is testing a new ‘Collab’ function in India and the United Kingdom, which would allow users to collaborate on Feed Posts and Reels with others.
