Microsoft – Jio collaboration reunites the two big industries as Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani spoke to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in a conference at the Future Decoded CEO Summit in Mumbai. The two business leaders of different industries spoke about the evolution of the telecom industry and the potential ideas by India as a digital nation. Nadella stated in that meeting that India had a huge potential for digital technologies and it gives the growing number of internet and mobile users to society. Ambani also praised Satya Nadella’s leadership style in business and how he had nurtured the Microsoft organization. Apart from that, he hailed Microsoft for committing to India in a very big way and looking forward to the Jio and Microsoft partnership to accelerate digital transformation in India.
Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) chairman and Satya Nadella of Microsoft Corporation CEO on Monday expressed hope and excitement about their nascent technology alliance with the Indian telecom company of Ambani terming it will be the “defining partnership of the decade”.
What that decade will be offering to Indians is that they will go from no technology to pole-vault in technology and adopt a full-service by Microsoft. Ambani said this in a statement at the Future Decoded Tech Summit in Mumbai on Wednesday. This partnership between Jio and Microsoft will give the full stack of services that will lately propel India forward in the coming decade in terms of digitalization,” Ambani said that at the summit organized by Microsoft corp. to engage with Indian industry leaders. In the year 2019, Reliance Industries announced that a 10-year technology partnership with Microsoft and Jio is for its subsidiary Jio Infocomm Ltd that includes cloud-based solutions. Reliance Jio will provide the services to its internal workforce with cloud-based productivity so that they work better and this collaboration is available with Microsoft 365.
