The irritating “Hi Cortana” welcome screen and Live Tiles are also gone in Windows 11. With its newest operating system, the Redmond, Washington-based business is essentially attempting to compete with the likes of macOS and Chrome OS. The new Windows has a redesigned Start menu.
Aside from that, Microsoft has made several changes to make Windows 11 appear better. The operating system’s icons and themes have also been changed. It now has softer graphics and a translucent background to draw attention to what’s on the screen. Surprisingly, Windows 10 now features rounded corners, similar to Android and iOS.
Experience Windows 11 early version soon
According to Microsoft, if you’re a Windows Insider, you’ll be able to experience an official early version of Windows 11 as soon as next week (the week of June 29th). Anyone in the Dev or Beta channels will be able to obtain the Windows 11 Insider releases if their hardware fulfills the requirements, according to Microsoft.
Go to Settings->Update and Security->Windows Insider Program to sign up or update your preferences. The formal upgrade will be available by the “Christmas season,” according to Microsoft. As a result, expect it between October and December.
Windows 11 performance
Windows 11 is also quicker in all of your Windows tasks. This encompasses everything from booting up to browsing the web to executing applications. This is due to several OS optimizations, including 40% smaller updates that will now execute in the background. The new Windows is also more energy-efficient than prior versions and is Microsoft’s safest operating system yet.
New Microsoft Store
Microsoft has unveiled a new Microsoft Store for both Windows 11 and Windows 10 that will be available shortly. Stories – editorial content to keep you updated about the best apps, Android app integration through the Amazon Appstore, and a new pop-up store to install apps from the browser will all be available in the new app shop.
