MS Dhoni launches made-in-India camera drone ‘Droni’for farming solutions
Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and former captain Mahendra Singh (MS) Dhonihas launched a made-in-India camera drone named ‘Droni’ with advanced features manufactured by Garuda Aerospace. The announcement was made by the company’s founder Agnishwar Jayaprakash. Garuda Aerospace’s operational expertise has also been praised by Elon Musk. Musk praised the company’s work on Twitter last year.

Dhoni is the brand ambassador of Garuda Aerospace, a company which has attempted to offer drone solutions for solar panel cleaning, agricultural pesticide spraying, inspecting industrial pipelines, mapping, surveying, public announcements, and delivering services. According to the company’s founder and CEO Agneswar Jayaprakash, the product will be available in the market by the end of 2022. Anand Kumar Das, President of the Indian Drone Association and former Wing Commander in the Indian Air Force, said that the platform will play an important role in promoting the growth and development of the drone industry.
The drones of Garuda Company were of great use at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sanitization works were done with the help of these drones. The drones of this company were also used to deliver medicines in cities like Varanasi, Raipur, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Apart from this, under the ownership scheme in Uttar Pradesh, 1000 villages were mapped with the drones of this company. This was done to create a digital record of ownership.
