Users only need to open the Netflix app and look for the Play Something option. The feature, however, does not play anything and instead analyses the user’s viewing history and preferences to recommend a show. If consumers don’t like what Netflix is displaying, they can use the Play Something Else toggle to choose something else to watch.
Netflix added Play Something to its Android app, allowing customers to try out the function for the first time. The new function will be accessible initially for Android smartphones, and if you test it out, the feature should be accessible on the app already.
Recently, Netflix announced that the shuffle feature would be available on both Android and iOS devices. While the feature is now available on Android, no timetable has been set for when it will be available on iOS. The feature will be available for iOS soon, but the exact date has yet to be announced.
Netflix officially announced the feature, the production company shared a tutorial video. The video started with the couple trying to choose the best show according to their interest. TV remote, voiced by BoJack Horseman star Will Arnett, assists them with the new shuffle feature to find the best shows.
For Android users, Netflix is releasing the Fast Laughs function. It’s a vertical format tool similar to Tiktok that was pushed out to iPhone users earlier this year. Netflix customers may utilize the rapid laughs feature to view humorous and short videos, swipe a video up vertically to watch another, respond to, and share these videos, all of which are sourced from Netflix’s massive library. Fast Laughs may be found at the bottom of the Netflix app’s navigation menu. The feature in the Android app is now accessible in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
