There are currently three smartphones in the OnePlus 9 series and a fourth on the way. According to a recent report, OnePlus is planning to release the OnePlus 9RT in October. According to the report, it would be an improved version of the OnePlus 9R, which is now only available in India. Furthermore, the OnePlus 9RT will only be available in a few countries, with India being the first.

According to the same report, Company is planning to release two more gadgets soon. However, the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 will remain the company’s flagship phones this year, with the OnePlus 9RT sitting a notch below the current OnePlus 9R and replacing it.

The OnePlus 9RT is expected to come with a 120Hz high refresh rate AMOLED display, a slightly tweaked Snapdragon 870 Chipset, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging capabilities. It will also use a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, which was previously seen on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord 2.

The phone is expected to be released in a limited number of countries, including India and China. While a specific launch date has yet to be announced, the OnePlus 9RT is expected to arrive in India around October, maybe in the middle of the month. In India, Diwali comes on November 4, and OnePlus would likely take advantage of the festival’s sale season.

The OnePlus 9R’s base model costs INR 39,999, thus the upcoming model shouldn’t cost more than INR 45,000. The smartphone may replace the OnePlus 9R at the same pricing of INR 39,999.
