Roli Impex Pvt. Ltd. is an accomplished import-export firm with a strategic global import-export network. Found in 1997, the Company exports a range of products, including garments, furniture, premium tea, handicrafts and medicines in Russia/CIS countries & Italy, and imports shigh-end medical devices from Russia. It works closely with the Trade and Commerce Wing of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in New Delhi.
While being a preferred name in import-export, the Company is serving a wholesome purpose in the current scenario. To extend its services in the current scenario, the Company floated RoliCare, to supply medical equipment in India. Its flagship product, RoliCare UV-C Air Disinfectant, is globally certified to reduce germs and viruses in the air and ensure a hygienic environment. The device is installed in many Govt. & private foundations and comes in attractive designs and features.
THE BRAINS OF THE ORGANISATION
Roli Impex is the brainchild of Mr Mukesh Kumar Singhal. Back in the early 90s, Mr Singhal was in Moscow, Russia, as a representative for a leading Indian firm. During this stint, he started exploring opportunities for an Indian product in that market. After 2 years, studying the Moscow market and work culture, Mr Singhal decided to establish an import-export firm in New Delhi and build trade relations with Russia. And the sails of Roli Impex were raised. His journey is supported by Mrs Anita Singhal (Co-founder) and Mr Sarthak Singhal (Sales Director). Along with leaders, Roli Impex houses a technical team consisting of Astro-nuclear physicists & Material Scientists from IIT & IISc.
AN INNOVATIVE BLESSING IN THE CURRENT SCENARIO
COVID-19 continues to be a predicament of biblical proportions around the globe. While the number of active cases has subsided, residential areas, such as hotels, schools, hospitals, and offices, remain vulnerable to infection due to prolonged human interaction. The scenario demands technologies that can sanitize and ensure a safe, interactive environment. UV-C light sanitization is a widely effective method practised since the mid-20s. Its discovery won the Nobel Prize for being effective in treating cutaneous TB. Now that WHO & CDC has confirmed that COVID-19 is airborne and mainly transmits through respiratory droplets, the installation of UV air disinfectants becomes crucial.
While there are many air-disinfectants in the market, RoliCare differentiates itself for being chemical-free. Its range of ultraviolet-C based air disinfection devices is certified by International labs and accredited by NABL to axe 99.99% indoor cross-contamination of various lethal infections, including COVID-19. In short, it can identify and destroy airborne & bio-aerosolized pathogens in the presence of humans, plants and animals.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
RoliCare’s UV-air disinfectant has a two-stage purification process. First, it intakes the air and passes it through a filter, cleaning it off pollutants. Purified air passes through a UV chamber with a UV-C germicidal lamp, ensuring effective Ozone-free microbial treatment. The disinfected air is released, free of germs or bacteria, and the circulation process continues. The product is tested to disinfect a room within 20-90 mins depending on the model and area.
The product is installed in the premises of AIIMS, Ministry of Home Affairs, DFCCIL (Ministry of Railways), PWD (Govt. of Uttar Pradesh), Hospitals under the Govt. of Uttarakhand, Trade and Commerce wing of the Embassy of the Russian Federation (New Delhi, India), Ministry of Textiles, Delhi E.N.T Hospital, and other residential and commercial spaces. The product was actually released in 2018 but earned its significance amid the pandemic. The product has over 3 Lac customers worldwide, and the numbers are ever-increasing. The device comes with European (CE), Eurasian (EAC) and Russian (GOST) certifications.
