Chatting app owned by Facebook WhatsApp has officially confirmed that the application would stop functioning for many devices in two months. Users will be unable to see their messages, images, or videos as of 1st November if this occurs, since WhatsApp will no longer support older smartphones. WhatsApp said in its statement that it will no longer support older Android and iOS versions. Only those users who have Android OS 4.1 or above, as well as iOS 10 or higher, will be able to use WhatsApp.
If your mobile is older than 2011, you’ll need to upgrade to keep using WhatsApp. The deadline for completing the necessary tasks is November 1. Users of Android and iOS devices may verify the software version they’re running by going into their phone’s settings. Meanwhile, effective November 1st, it will no longer operate for the following smartphones.
