Today (February 4) is the day that has gained popularity internationally for raising awareness of cancer. An estimated 9.5 million people worldwide die of cancer each year. Various groups around the world celebrate World Cancer Day by hosting events, seminars and even campaigns to raise awareness about how the disease can be prevented through nutrition and food.
