Xiaomi Pad 5 to launch in India this month alongside Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi Pad 5 is launching in India later this month. The tech company has officially announced the launch date of the Xiaomi Pad 5, which has been available globally for the past several months. On April 27, the tablet will be launched alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro. With the Xiaomi Pad 5, the company hopes to compete with the upcoming Realme Pad, as well as tablets from Vivo and Oppo.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 was first released in China with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset and later debuted in the global market. The tablet will come with keyboard accessories, according to the official teaser.
Specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch WQXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz sampling rate in the global variant. Dolby Vision, HDR10, TrueTone True colour display, and TUV Rheinland low blue light hardware scheme certification is also supported.
The gadget comes with an 8720mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The Xiaomi Pad 5 also has a single 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The tablet has Dolby Atmos, USB Type-C audio, and quad speakers, as well as 5G, 4G LTE (optional), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS connectivity.

Price in India (expected)
The Xiaomi Pad 5 starts at RMB 1,999 (approximately INR 24,000) in the global market for the 6GB + 128GB Wi-Fi edition. The 6GB + 256GB Wi-Fi variant costs RMB 2,299, which is around INR 27,600 in Indian currency. Indian costs could be similar or slightly cheaper.
