Xiaomi to launch many smartphones on 23 April, powered by Snapdragon 888

Xiaomi to Launch multiple smartphones on 23 April 2021
Xiaomi, a Chinese multinational electronics company had last month said that Xiaomi will soon be launching its Mi 11 series in India. Later, it confirmed that the India launch will happen on April 23, 2021.
Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain has now confirmed on a social media platform that Xiaomi will be launching ‘many’ Qualcomm Snapdragon-8 series smartphones on April 23, 2021.
The Xiaomi VP post a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 teaser video with the caption. “Glad to bring #Snapdragon888 on not 1, but many Mi smartphones,” Jain said, indicating that the company will launch multiple Snapdragon 888-powered phones.
These smartphones namely Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11i, & Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G.Out of these, the Mi 11 and its pro model, Mi 11 Ultra, and the Mi 11i are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the Mi 11 Lite 5G (Qualcomm Snapdragon 780 chipset). As per Manu’s tweet, some of the first three will launch in India.

All the smartphones are probably to be estimated on the higher side as they will be imported from China. Quite possible that Mi 11 Ultra will cost more than Rs 70,000 in India. The Xiaomi smartphone features include a 6.81-inches AMOLED display (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
