Reports have emerged concerning a property transaction linked to Mukesh Ambani. According to the New York Post, an entity associated with the Indian business magnate has recently finalized the sale of a luxurious residence situated in Manhattan’s esteemed West Village. However, Innovative Zone Magazine has not been able to independently verify this report.
The residence in question, known as Superior Ink and located at 400 W. 12th St, is a fourth-floor condominium. This elegant dwelling, which was previously valued at an impressive $9 million (approximately ₹74.5 crores), spans an area of 2,406 square feet, as detailed by the publication.
The dwelling provides a breathtaking view of the Hudson River and boasts two bedrooms, which have been carefully converted from an initial count of three, along with 31⁄2 baths.
Inside the home, an air of sophistication permeates, characterized by the fusion of opulent elements and modern design. Notable features include 10-foot-high ceilings, exquisite herringbone hardwood floors, noise-resistant windows, and a meticulously designed chef’s kitchen, as noted by the Post.
Throughout its existence, Superior Ink has been home to a prestigious roster of residents. Noteworthy individuals such as Hilary Swank, renowned Nascar figure Jimmie Johnson, and designer Marc Jacobs have all graced the premises with their presence.
The residence’s grandeur is further accentuated by billionaire Leslie Alexander. Alexander notably acquired a raw-space penthouse at a substantial cost of $25.46 million. Impressively, he later orchestrated the successful sale of the same penthouse for an astonishing $31.5 million to the intriguing “space tourist” Mark Shuttleworth back in 2010.
Erected in 2009, the building seamlessly integrates contemporary amenities with its historical origins. Residents have access to an array of facilities, including a lounge, fitness center complete with a dedicated yoga/Pilates room, a children’s play area, and even a designated space for bicycles.
