Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi crosses INR 100 crore mark at the box office

Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi has crossed the INR 100 crore mark at the Indian box office. Alia Bhatt celebrated the achievement by having some burgers. Alia also revealed from her Instagram stories that the film has earned INR 102.64 crore so far. Alia shared some candid photos of herself eating her burger on Instagram. “Happy century to Gangubai & happy vegan burger + fry to Alia,” she wrote in the post.

Despite facing competition from Jhund and The Batman, Alia’s Gangubai continues to draw audiences to the theatres. The film has surpassed the INR 100 crore mark, according to trade expert Taran Adarsh.

According to trade expert Taran Adarsh, it made INR 4 crore on its second Tuesday, bringing its total to INR 99.64 crore in just 12 days since its release on February 25. It will reach the INR 100 crore level by the end of Wednesday. As a result, it earns a place among COVID releases that have passed this test. Pushpa (Hindi version), Sooryavanshi, and 83 are some of the other Hindi films that have crossed over INR 100 crore. According to Box Office India, Gangubai Kathiawadi will have outperformed 83, which grossed INR 103.46 crore.
