Microsoft has announced that its new Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 apps will be available on October 5th, along with Windows 11. Office 2021 will be the next standalone version of Microsoft’s Office suite, aimed at organizations and consumers that don’t want to pay for Office as a subscription.
Only existing PCs will be eligible for a free Windows 11 update, according to Microsoft, yet the new software’s system requirements clear that only new hardware will be eligible.
