COMPANY OVERVIEW
The story of One for Life begins at UPES, Dehradun. The Founders, V Swaminathan (CEO & Director) and Naman (CTO and Co-Founder), and their partners realised that the current project planning and execution structure of organisations delivering projects was geriatric and needed much more improvement. Once this realisation set in, they embarked upon a journey to change this reality. They ventured into the market with a new thinking process and implementation mindset and began to cater to clients and business owners. Now, after years of market research and numerous satisfied clients under their belt, they believe they are on the correct path.
Providing their fellow colleagues to learn new tech stacks, they want to pass on a simple message to all who are associated with them:

One for Life offers services such as Technical and Startup Consultation, Web Development, Mobile Development, UI/UX & Designing, Application Architecture Designing and Platform for Artists. UniGov., the company’s in-house developed product is a fully customizable multi-role solution that has all the features required for institute management. The company believes in creating relations rather than clients or employees, and has incorporated this into its working ideologies as well. The employees at One for Life are hungry to learn and the leaders make sure to provide them a chance to grow into the best they can be. The team at One for Life comprises professionals from different domains ranging from AI Experts, Full Stack Developers, Solution Architects, Designers and Interface Engineers and Maestros, who have been working in the service industry for over ten years. Provided with an opportunity to learn new skills, directly interact with clients, both domestic and international, and get recognized for their efforts, the team is eager to address the challenges the company faces head on.

WORK CULTURE
The unprecedented advent and scope of the pandemic shook the working style of a lot of industries to the core and affected a lot more people. Still, One for Life continued to strive and complete different challenges that were presented its way. A smooth work from home policy with a flexible time schedule was helpful for the team.

One thing that has kept the company afloat through times like this is the ability of the Director to learn from the past and look towards the future. In his journey as an entrepreneur, he experienced certain points in his life which made him realise an organisation is as good as the employees it has. Therefore, One for Life focuses majorly on the team under his leadership – skilling them, making them capable and providing them opportunities to lead, manage and engage with clients under proper guidance. This not only helps their confidence but also makes the audience understand that they stand by their words and their ideologies.
Putting mandatory upskilling courses and projects for each and every one of the team members has helped the leadership team make sure they have the best workforce behind them, excelling at what they do best while learning new skills.
The team started out from UPES, Dehradun. Engineers who had a passion and thirst for knowledge came together – sharing what they had learnt in their respective domains. After having worked in the industry, they realised it is not about how much you know but rather about how you present yourself. That is what they learnt together and built for themselves, and over time looked for other dedicated people with the same hunger and lust for knowledge and becoming better.
The software industry is growing at a rapid pace and new languages are emerging much more frequently. AWS started out as a research paper back in 2003, officially launching three years later. Now within fifteen years, it has become the underlying structure for almost all major service providers leveraging its services. Innovation is the root in the Tech Sector, and One for Life believes we should not be afraid to think of multiple creative ideas even if they are not traditional. Even if some of them don’t work out, they will help in providing further understanding about their thinking process and teach them how to approach problems from different angles.
As said by A.G Lafley: “Let’s execute along this strategy, but know that we’ll probably get some of this wrong, so be open to changing it.”
ACHIEVEMENTS AND FUTURE PLANS
Within the first year of our inception, the organisation has been driven and fortunate enough to not only work in multiple domains but work with international clients as well, presenting its products in South African Educational Sectors to UK Resourcing departments. The director was previously featured in Silicon India’s 10 Best Startups in Blockchain 2019 Magazine Edition for his former startup.

For the company’s next goals, the team is working on launching a product in the market that has been in the works for the last three months.
