Oppo first foldable phone ‘Find N’ to launch on December 15

Oppo Find N, the company’s first foldable smartphone, will be unveiled at 4 p.m. (local time) on December 15 as part of the company’s INNO Day 2021 event. The design of the Find N is seen in a tweet from the company. Pete Lau will be promoted to Chief Product Offer (CPO) at Oppo, according to the press release. Pete Lau, the company’s new product chief, unveiled the Oppo Find N. The foldable phone has been in development for four years, and six prototypes have been made.

Oppo has yet to reveal the entire design and specifications of its foldable smartphone, but according to Lau, the firm has overcome some of the most prevalent issues with foldable phones, including “the crease in the display and the general longevity of the device. Oppo would be competing with Samsung with its foldable phone, which presently has a solid portfolio of foldable in two distinct designs.

“The Oppo Find N boasts “probably the greatest hinge and display designs available today,” according to Lau. The Oppo Find N, according to leaks and rumors, will have an inward folding design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Huawei Mate X2. It might have an 8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 CPU. The foldable phone is also believed to come with ColorOS 12 with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera on the back. The Oppo Find N will also include a 4,500mAh battery and 65W fast charging capabilities.
