Picxele was introduced as an outsourcing/offshoring company to close the divide between companies and the Gig Workers through a tailored student-centric application. This aims to make brands and students more mutual, and that is done via the innovative offering strategy, part-time/full-time internships, brand promotions, influencer marketing as well as employment in a single forum. The Company’s mission and vision are aligned towards the welfare of students by helping them earn money and work experience during the crucial college days. The Founder drew the idea as he witnessed the need for a little extra money during his college days.
Entrepreneurship at Its Best
Following over 43 internships in his second year at college, Mr. Rishav Agarwal, Founder and CEO, was fascinated by and became interested in marketing and other profiles. He also examined the need of students and brands and how they both had a distance between them which hindered them from achieving the targets.
At first, Rishav began with the company INTEGER Innovation where, for some time with his college folks, he got work from different brands and got them finished through students and paid them a stipend. After acquiring strong experience and skills, Floatex was incorporated as a privately held corporation as Floatex Marketing Solutions Private Limited in July 2018. But as the work developed and Rishav began to incorporate brands alongside students through manual processes the management of students became increasingly difficult to handle, and the concept of the Picxele app was born out of the innovative Founder’s extraordinary mind. The start of the app made a life for the student body simpler and more organized.

Pandemic, Who?
Although the majority of businesses have faced a backslash during the COVID induced lockdown, Picxele saw an increase in the demand for their services during the entire lockdown period. Most of the organizations were looking for an on-demand workforce to achieve their part-time work goals, and on the other hand, students sitting at their homes were hunting opportunities to engage themselves. Here, Picxele roped in n number of companies and merged them with talented and motivated students, thereby fulfilling the needs of both the parties and that too with utter smoothness.
The Company took commendable efforts to keep the workforce and the team ever-engaged during the pandemic. Here, they focused on accumulating clients to ensure regular flow of campaigns and acquired new staff with an intact and on-time salary payment. Further, the Company provided work from home marketing internships to over 1000 students across India, and all of this contributed to Picxele’s growth by scaling their users from 20K to 45K.

Since the beginning, the vision of Rishav to scale the Company to greater heights alongside creating profound impact in the lives of fresh graduates and helping them as they begin their careers has led Picxele to accumulate feathers under their hat. Here, the Company has associated over 100 brands out of which 20 per cent have remained since a long time. Furthermore, from bootstrapped to becoming profitable and having crores of revenue, the Company has 5000+ monthly active Gig Workers.
In the future, the one-of-a-kind Company plans to take its users’ reach to 100K by March 2021 by onboarding more and more brands alongside adding a wealth of new features in the app. Besides, Picxele is envisioning to venture into Angel Round Funding, and they even look forward to expand their tech and marketers’ team to accomplish the requirements and surpass their revenue at 2X rate in the upcoming years.
