Reliance Jio announced the first boost in cell service charges in over 2.5 years, and it will take effect on July 3. The 1 GB data add-on package, which was previously only available for ₹15, would now cost ₹19, a 27% increase.

After a 20% increase, the popular ₹666 unlimited package with an 84-day validity is now ₹799, while the 75 GB postpaid data plan is now ₹449 from ₹399. Regarding the hikes, Jio vows to keep offering premium service at affordable prices, and costs, highlighting its leadership in the introduction of 5G and its investment in 5G and AI for future growth.
