Reality you can’t scroll! This school in India runs only for a single student
Everyone’s growth and development depend on education because it enables better living. Additionally, it develops future citizens who will aid in the nation’s progress. No one should be left behind, and everyone must be given the chance to learn and advance their knowledge. In the direction of “Education For All”, a government school in Maharashtra’s Washim district runs only for one student.

Ganeshpur is the smallest village in the Washim district with a population of around 150. There is only one school in the village that is run by the Zilla Parishad. The school is allowed to run from classes 1 to 4, but the school has only one student as he is the only child in the village in this age group.
However, this does not stop the child’s education, as the school authorities are ready to run the school even if they have only one student.
According to Kishore Mankar, he is the only teacher at Washim’s Ganeshpur Primary School, which has enrolled only one student for the last two years. Mankar, who is the only teacher in the school, teaches all the subjects to the student. The teacher also said that all the facilities given by the government, including mid-day meals, are being provided for the student.
“The population of the village is 150. There is only one student enrolled in the school for the last two years. I am the only teacher in the school,” Kishor Mankar said, reported ANI.
Student Karthik Shegokar goes to school regularly. He is a student of class three. Daily, his teacher, Kishore Mankar, covers a distance of 12 km to reach the school and teaches him. Both of them sing the national anthem during the morning assembly and then Karthik is taught by his teacher.

If there is attachment to education, the way is found, even if the number of students is one, the school opens. Even though there is only one teacher, education is given every day. At present, there are 10,32,049 government schools in India. But the honor that Washim’s Ganeshpur Primary School has received is speechless.
