Leave shall be approved by the head of the federal authority for which the employee works, and may be combined with leave without pay and annual leave.
In order to develop the skills of UAE citizens who have obtained an “entrepreneurship leave” for self-employment, a government official told Khaleej Times that the government would work to establish partnerships with leading businesses in the private sector and business incubators. The official also said that the government would support these citizens in the areas of entrepreneurship, company creation, and management.
