Truecaller brings new features for iPhone: Gets 10X better caller ID, spam detection & more
Widely used caller recognition app Truecaller announced a new version of the app for its iPhone users. The company has completely rebuilt its app for iOS users. The updated iOS version is calibrated to take up less space on your phone and offers 10x better spam protection than older versions. It is also said to be faster and more accurate than previous iOS versions of the app.
“This update has been a long time coming for many iOS users, and now we can offer them the best performing identifier of spam and scam to help them separate the noise from the communication they want to respond to,” said Alan Mamedi, co-founder and CEO of Truecaller.

Highlights of the updated app include a 10x improvement in Caller ID detection and a 10x improvement in spam and scam prevention. For number search, the design has also been changed to now provide an improved detail view. For the app, a new look for the search extension created. Truecaller’s new app for iPhone users is also very easy to access. Users can now easily log in and navigate through the app quickly.
iPhone users will benefit from the new Truecaller app’s ability to search for numbers outside of the app. If you are picking up a call from an unknown number, you can go to your call log, tap on the info button and ‘Share Contact’ to Truecaller. It will reveal the name of the caller, and then it will show that number in your iPhone call log.
