Meet Dr. A.K. Tyagi- Working Behind the Scenes
Since 2006, Dr. A.K. Tyagi has served as Executive Director of the Haldiram Group of Companies. He is in charge of the entire company, including production, sales, and marketing, research and development, product innovation, finance, diversification, and expansion.
He began his career in 1984 with Wimpy International, a multinational corporation (A Div. of United Biscuit Empire, UK). Later, from 1988 until 2000, he worked at Uncle Chipps Company Ltd in various roles, including CEO and President of the Company. Dr. Tyagi became CEO of Amrit Banaspati Company Ltd. in the year 2000.
Dr. Tyagi has received various Awards on behalf of the Company as well as at individual capacity in Uncle Chipps and Haldiram. Recently, he has received Food Industry Icon Lifetime Achievement Award in India Food Forum, Business Leader of the Year Award from ET NOW, and CEO of the Year Award from India Food Safety Summit. “
